Professional portraits are not required to have a stamp or copyright notation to indicate copyright, although this is indicated on the back of many prints. It is understandable that you love your images and want to share them. That means the photographer did her job well and should be fairly compensated for her hard work. Scans create embarrassingly low-quality images that can unfairly harm the photographer's reputation.
